Medical Marketing Internship (Medical Marketing in Medical Devices)

Are you a 3rd-year student in the field of Health (Economics/(Bio)Science), Marketing, or Communication with a strong understanding of (bio)medical content? OMRON Healthcare EMEA is seeking a bright and creative student to join our Medical Marketing Team for an exciting internship opportunity!

About the role: As a member of the EMEA Medical Marketing team, you will play a crucial role in the OMRON brand. You will have the opportunity to work with the full medical marketing mix, including medical communication strategies, medical education, and communication for healthcare professionals in our key areas.

Key Activities: Working with medical content (e.g., publications) to create clear and accessible communication materials that help healthcare professionals understand the added value of OMRON's propositions in improving their patients' health. Supporting digital marketing initiatives, including website content updates, campaign materials, and optimization of digital assets for healthcare professional audiences and consumers. Assisting with email marketing activities, such as drafting medical newsletters, coordinating email campaigns, and monitoring engagement metrics. Managing multiple small projects at different stages. Creating and designing medical communication materials in close collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams. Collaborating closely with multifunctional teams in EMEA countries. Supporting product launches in EMEA countries. Assisting in online educational activities for healthcare professionals. In addition to the activities mentioned above, you may be involved in other ad hoc tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate would be: A 3rd-year onwards Bachelor's or Master’s student in the field of Bio-Sciences, Health (Economics), Marketing, or Communications. Ability to read and interpret medical scientific literature and translate it into practical communication. Focus areas include cardiovascular and respiratory conditions. Fluent in both written and spoken English. Good knowledge of MS applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Clear interest/affinity for healthcare/medical devices and a customer-focused mindset. Curious, open-minded, energetic, hands-on and a fast learner. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and quickly grasping multiple aspects of the business. Ideally, you can start the internship in April.
