About the Role
As Changan Auto Europe continues to expand its operations across Europe, a key regional base has been established in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. As Human Resources Manager – Europe, you will play a pivotal role in scaling the European organization, with a strong focus on talent acquisition and leading the design and implementation of employee benefits schemes across multiple markets.
This role is central to Changan’s European growth, combining hands-on recruitment leadership with the development of benefits frameworks aligned with local regulations and market benchmarks, while supporting the establishment of robust and compliant HR structures across the region.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Lead end-to-end recruitment across all European entities—defining hiring needs, creating job descriptions, sourcing candidates, managing interviews, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top professionals in both technical and commercial roles using job boards, agencies, and direct sourcing.
Lead workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and compensation benchmarking to support strategic business growth.
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
Design, implement, and manage employee benefits schemes across Europe, including pensions, insurance, allowances, and other local statutory and supplementary benefits, aligned with market benchmarks and company strategy.
Oversee and manage payroll administration for the EU entity, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local tax, social security, and labor regulations.
HR Strategy, Policies & Compliance
Establish and oversee HR policies, systems, and procedures across all EU operations, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and alignment with Changan’s corporate guidelines.
Manage employee relations, performance management, and HR operations across multiple countries, maintaining a positive and compliant working environment.
Budgeting & HR Operations
Prepare and manage the annual HR budget, including headcount, recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, and engagement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of HR management experience, preferably within a multinational or automotive organization.
Strong experience in recruitment, training, and talent development across diverse cultural environments.
A genuine passion for recruitment, talent growth, and creating a positive employee experience across international teams.
Proficient understanding of EU labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-growing, start-up environment.
Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is an advantage.
