Job Description
Position summary: The role is located at IMSC Leiden and works with the Global DOTS organization. The position plays a central role in driving the site strategic digital goals and must-wins. The role requires excellent program leadership skills and will be accountable for confirmed delivery of ground-breaking goals yielding actual business value. This role requires outstanding leadership experience on all aspects of end-to-end Program Management including conceptualization and business value realization. They will also have sound experience in the data analytics environment in BioPharma and a solid ability to coach and mentor project leads and teams to develop required leadership and technical skills.
General Scope Of Responsibilities
Perform to high standards at all times in compliance with Credo and Standards of Leadership. Act as a role model for all colleagues.
Collaborate effectively with other functions & groups to deliver the program.
Collaborate closely with local, platform and enterprise teams to craft, develop and ensure effective program delivery through efficient site test and learn, and then scale validated solutions.
Lead program planning, tracking, and reporting against Key Results and Digital & Technology Program Objectives.
Lead development and attainment of Key Performance Indicators and provide strong plans for continuous improvement.
Lead the intake of new Digital & Technology projects, solutioning and selection of the preferred option that best meets the Business Need, preparation for Stage Gates and the development of the selected option for CAR approval.
In conjunction with PMO, lead the selection of appropriate project functions and project resourcing.
Lead the evaluation of the value delivered versus the value identified in the Business Need, and collate lessons learned from a Business perspective.
Develop, maintain & control Project budgets, Capital Requirement Plans, and Budgets.
Undertake Learning and Development to ensure Highly Capable Leadership; coach and mentor others engaged in delivery of Digital & Technology programs.
Business relationship management, ensuring business requirements are met; provide suitable training courses and training material.
Assure the safe execution of job activities on site and follow good environmental practices and procedures; ensure personal training requirements are completed according to site procedures.
Drive efficiencies across the site through adoption of new technologies and improved approaches to operations. Challenge the status quo and drive improvement.
Work with platform and CoE leads to solicit and deploy technologies, systems and sharing to improve globally.
Key Competencies Required
Requires 6-8 years of related experience including 2-4 years in a management/supervisory role.
Prior experience in delivering programs to achieve business results.
Strong performer with demonstrated strategy execution capabilities and ability to align partners and teams.
Experience in Pharma/BioPharma is helpful.
Strong mentoring, coaching and leadership skills; leadership and development of all colleagues.
Customer-focused; innovative and strategic; strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
Collaboration and teamwork across site functions and partners; integrity and Credo-based actions.
High technical knowledge to understand sophisticated technology-based solutions; ability to lead and motivate teams.

Work as a strategic partner with all groups within the company and align across other J&J sites.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
BSc and MSc Degree in engineering, science, or an IT field.
Data Solutions Authority or related experience.
Four years of confirmed experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP regulated manufacturing environment.
Extensive knowledge of end-to-end data flows, data architecture and database structures; strong SQL skills and knowledge of data engineering using Databricks to access Azure data.
Ability to work individually or as part of a team in a highly interdependent environment.
Project Management skills (SCRUM, Agile, FPX, Waterfall) and a track record of leading projects to deployment stages.
Desirable
Consistent record in data management systems and infrastructure.
Understanding of ISA S95 & S88 standards and implementation within Global Supply Chain.
Good understanding of asset management/maintenance systems (ERP, CMMS) and S95 systems (Level 1-3 such as MES PAS-X, OSI-PI) and IT infrastructure and hardware; Level 4 systems such as SAP, Quality Systems, Data warehouses, etc.
Independent with priorities and critical achievements.
Experience with visualization solutions (Tableau, Python, R Studio) and Pi data for trending purposes.
Good understanding of Industry 4.0/IoT and transformation within this framework.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 80,800 EUR gross to 140,530 EUR gross per year and includes 8% holiday allowance.
