Description
The people experience specialist is responsible for delivering operational HR and payroll support across multiple areas of the employee lifecycle. Acting as a key point of contact for employees, the role ensures accurate system updates, and proper documentation management. The people experience specialist works closely with the HR Core and the HR Systems team to continuously identify and implement process improvements that enhance the employee experience, strengthen compliance, and increase operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Manage monthly payroll changes and validations to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
Process and manage employee lifecycle changes in our HRIS HiBob, including onboarding, offboarding, contractual amendments, and data updates.
Partner with the HR Systems team to improve workflows, increase automation, and enhance system accuracy and data integrity.
Maintain and continuously improve HR administration and payroll processes to increase efficiency, data quality, and compliance
Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions
Prepare employment contracts, addendums, confirmation letters, and other employee documentation
Maintain and update HR document templates to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with current policies and legislation
Support international mobility processes, including relocation cases, visa/permit applications, and 30% ruling procedures
Co-create, review, and maintain HR policies to ensure alignment with local legislation and internal governance
Manage HR purchase orders end to end, including creation, approvals, and coordination with Finance on invoices
Qualifications / skills
Relevant experience in HR, preferably within an international environment
Solid experience with administration and HR payroll, with strong attention to detail.
Solid administrative and organizational skills
Comfortable managing multiple priorities
Trustworthy and discreet with confidential information
Service-oriented and approachable
Proactive, efficient and structured way of working
Enjoys working in an operational role
Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a strong advantage.

Location / hours
Monday to Friday. The role is based at our Support Office in Voorschoten, with a planned move to our new office in Leiden in Q2. After completing your onboarding and immersion phase, you’ll have the flexibility to work from home (on average two days a week in the office, no fully remote.
