Senior Software Engineer (Lake Buena Vista)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to develop custom analytical software that solves complex business problems, implement decision systems that improve the use of analytics at the company, Partner with Decision Science teams to integrate data science advancements into end-to-end solutions

and partner with Data and Technology teams to establish scalable, efficient, and automated data processes. Required Skills:

Minimum five years of software development experience

Minimum five years of experience developing with Python

Minimum two years of experience working with the Django framework

Minimum one year of ReactJS experience

Experience writing Rest APIs

Full-stack web development experience

Experience with Javascript, HTML and CSS

Minimum two years of experience writing SQL queries

Experience with MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or similar database

Experience working on AWS or other cloud platform

Experience working with complex and large volumes of data

Excellent problem-solving, design, and development skills

Willingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a strong team environment

Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business environments and managing multiple priorities

Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Skills:

Experience with the Django Rest Framework

Experience working with Snowflake cloud data warehouse

Experience with media networks or analytics systems

Familiarity with other emerging technologies and tools

Required Education : BS Additional Responsibilities:

Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.

Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.

Contribute content and collaborate via the OrangePeople-Wiki/Knowledge Base.

Provide status reports to OrangePeople Account Management as requested.
