Legal Assistant / Paralegal (Hybrid – NYC)
A respected wealth and investment management firm is seeking a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to support its in-house legal and compliance team. This role works closely with attorneys and compliance professionals, providing support across corporate governance, contract administration, regulatory matters, and legal operations in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain corporate governance materials, entity records, and meeting documentation
Assist with contract tracking, organization, and administration across vendor, client, and internal agreements
Support legal research, document management, and coordination with outside counsel and vendors
Assist with regulatory filings, audits, and maintenance of compliance records
Track deadlines, manage workflows, and support process improvements and legal technology initiatives
Qualifications
5–8 years of legal assistant or paralegal experience, ideally in-house
Experience with corporate governance and contract administration
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal or contract management systems
Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification a plus
Work Environment
Hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, NYC)
Collaborative culture with strong cross-functional exposure
