The Registered Children's Manager is responsible for overseeing the care and wellbeing of children within a residential setting, ensuring that all care plans are effectively implemented and monitored. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a dedicated team of staff, including nurses and caregivers, while fostering a safe and nurturing environment for the children. We are seeking an RM with good experience of managing ld and autism homes for at least 2 years with good ratings and ideally experience of new registration of homes too. Great opportunity, in a small but established children's home group. All homes are rated GOOD by Ofsted. *Responsibilities* * Lead and supervise a team of caregivers and in delivering high-quality care to children with complex and mild learning disabilities and autism. * Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to each child's needs. * Ensure medication administration is conducted safely and in accordance with established protocols. * Maintain accurate records of children's progress and any incidents that occur within the care home. * Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care for each child. * Conduct regular training sessions for staff to enhance their skills in child care and safety practices. * Monitor compliance with regulatory standards and ensure the care home meets all necessary requirements. * Foster a positive environment that encourages the emotional and social development of children. *Skills* * Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams within a nursing home or assisted living environment. * Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in children's care. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, families, and professionals. * Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. * Knowledge of medication administration procedures and health regulations related to children's care. * Compassionate approach towards caring for children, demonstrating empathy and understanding of their needs. xcunqrw * Strong organisational skills to manage care plans effectively and ensure compliance with policies.
