Daily control of fleet; 25 30 vehicles Management of drivers Control of the pallets & PODs on trucks Operators relationship with driver is very important professional relationship Operators to motivate drivers to perform better/be more productive Communication at loading and offloading points. Encourage drivers to finish loading and offloading as quick as possible Route planning Communication between driver and workshop - report all breakdowns to workshop. Ensure drivers have valid PDPs, vehicles were tested (COFs) and road worthy, cross border permits and Hazchem certificates are in place. Security and safety Experience in the field will be beneficial Must be well organised, have the ability to work quickly, work under pressure and be able to multi-task Computer literate Good people relations Good communication skills Able to enforce authority Be innovative and dynamic
