Job Description
JOB PURPOSE Responsible for designing, programming, configuring, commissioning, and maintaining control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA) as well as selecting, integrating, and calibrating field instrumentation. You will lead or participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), Site Acceptance Tests (SATs), and prepare key technical documentation to support project delivery, handover, and operations. REQURED QUALIFICATIONS Grade 12. ND : Electrical Engineering (Electronics or Instrumentation) Btech : Electrical Engineering (Electronics or Instrumentation) - (Advantage) REQURED KNOWLEDGE Knowledge of PLC Programming skills, DCS & SCADA design, configuration, and implementation. Knowledge of Control and Instrumentation Design. Knowledge of Commissioning of Control and Instrumentation Systems (e.g. Schneider, Siemens, Allen Bradley) Computer Literacy Knowledge of different motor staters Proficient Knowledge in creating technical documentation: FDS, control philosophy, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, O&M manuals REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 3-5 Years Experience in designing, programming, configuring, and commissioning PLC / DCS / SCADA systems (e.g. Schneider, Siemens, Allen Bradley) 3-5 Years Experience in Design PLC Control Panels including Connection and Loop Diagrams. Select and integrate sensors, transmitters, and control devices for process automation. Hands-on experience with calibration and maintenance of field instruments Experience conducting FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup support REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Good Planning and Organized: Ability to structure tasks, set priorities, and allocate resources efficiently so that work proceeds smoothly.
