You will play a crucial role in supporting our diverse client base, ensuring the smooth operation of their communication and IT systems. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-line technical support for VoIP and Hosted PBX environments. Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to email, computer systems, hosting, and general IT infrastructure. Perform on-site installations of telecommunication equipment, network devices, and IT systems. Assist with the installation and configuration of CCTV surveillance systems. Install and set up internet connectivity solutions (Fiber, Wireless, LTE) at client premises. Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls. Document technical procedures, client interactions, and solutions. Collaborate with senior technicians and sales teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with technology trends. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-line technical support for VoIP and Hosted PBX environments. Requirements: Relevant IT qualification (e.g., Diploma or Certificate in IT, Networking, or Telecommunications) is advantageous. Proven experience (1-2 years) in an IT support or technical role, preferably within a service provider environment. Practical experience and strong understanding of VoIP and Hosted PBX technologies. Familiarity with general IT troubleshooting (Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, email clients, basic networking). Experience with on-site installations and physical cabling. Knowledge of CCTV installation and configuration. Experience with internet connectivity installations (Fiber, Wireless, LTE). Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP). Valid South African driver's license and own reliable transport is essential. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
