Senior Production Manager (India)

Our client, a leading international company in the agricultural sector, is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Production Manager to oversee large-scale fruit production operations at their branch in India. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a global organization driving innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in modern farming. Responsibilities: Take overall responsibility for farm production operations, ensuring all activities are planned, coordinated, and executed efficiently. Oversee the installation and management of farm infrastructure, including irrigation systems, drainage, tunnels, roads, and other facilities, coordinating with suppliers and contractors. Develop, manage, and monitor operational budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and resource optimization. Lead teams across crop management, labor planning, and operational execution to meet production targets and KPIs. Collaborate with suppliers, service providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operational workflows and timely delivery of projects. Drive continuous improvement in farm practices through data-driven decision-making and innovation. Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and sustainability standards. Minimum Requirements: A degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, or related field; 510 years experience in farm production or agricultural management, ideally within the fruit industry; Proven experience in budgeting, operational planning, and supplier management; Excellent communication and organizational skills, fluent in English (written and spoken).
