HR Manager - Port Elizabeth

Location: Port Elizabeth Salary: R25 000 R30 000 per month Experience: 23 years About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on HR Manager to join our client in the transport and freight industry . The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing all HR functions, ensuring compliance with labour legislation, and supporting the companys people and performance objectives in a fast-paced operational environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the full HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and industry regulations. Advise management on performance management, disciplinary procedures, and staff development. Handle IR matters and ensure compliance with South African labour laws. Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and reporting. Coordinate payroll processes and manage employee benefits administration. Foster a positive, productive, and safety-conscious workplace culture. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field. 23 years experience in an HR generalist or managerial role, preferably within the transport, logistics, or freight industry . In-depth knowledge of labour legislation and HR practices. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Highly organised with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
