Weve got a position available for an it asset coordinator Company: Porcupine Union Purpose of position: Be responsible for managing the lifecycle of all IT assets within the organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance in asset usage. Provide oversight of procurement, allocation, tracking, and disposal/return of IT hardware, while maintaining alignment with company standard operations policies and best practices. Responsibilities: Hardware Lifecycle Management This covers the entire journey of an IT asset from the moment it's acquired until it's retired Reporting and Documentation This involves creating a paper trail for all asset-related activities to ensure accountability and provide data for decision-making Collaboration and Support This highlights the cross-functional nature of the role and the importance of communication Asset Disposal and Decommissioning This section covers the responsible end-of-life process for IT equipment Procurement and Receiving This covers the start of the asset lifecycle Auditing and Reconciliation This is a quality control function to maintain the integrity of the asset inventory Requirements: Matric (essential) IT/Software Qualification (advantageous) Minimum 2-3 years IT Assessment experience Comfortable with using start of the asset lifecycle Should you not receive any feedback within ten (10) working days after the closing date, please accept your application as unsuccessful.
