Raw Material Planner

A leading global producer in the food and beverage ingredient manufacturing industry is seeking a Raw Material Planner to join their dynamic team based in Paarl. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual with strong experience in supply chain and production planning to ensure efficient material availability for manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining optimal stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting the continuous flow of raw materials to meet production demands in a fast-paced and quality-driven environment. Responsibilities Plan and manage raw material requirements to ensure uninterrupted production operations. Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and place orders in line with production schedules. Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align supply with operational needs. Track supplier performance and follow up on delayed or short deliveries. Analyse inventory data and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Maintain accurate records of material movements and ensure compliance with company standards. Assist in the implementation of planning systems and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Production Planning. Proven experience in material planning or inventory control within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Ability to thrive under pressure in a high-paced production setting.
