Health and Safety Officer

An established and reputable construction company based in Cape Town is seeking to employ a Health and Safety Officer to join their growing team. This is a permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with some practical experience in construction health and safety. Key Responsibilities: Implement and maintain the companys health and safety policies and procedures on construction sites. Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Ensure compliance with relevant occupational health and safety legislation. Deliver toolbox talks and safety training to site personnel. Investigate incidents and report findings to management. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety compliance. Requirements: Minimum of 23 years experience as a Health and Safety Officer within the construction industry. Relevant qualification or certification in Occupational Health and Safety.
