Responsibilities Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities within the residential, commercial, and industrial solar markets. Conduct energy assessments and analyse consumption patterns to recommend appropriate solar system solutions. Deliver persuasive and professional sales presentations, effectively addressing customer needs and objections. Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and system sizing recommendations. Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service from initial contact through project completion. Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM and reporting tools. Stay up to date with solar technology trends, industry developments, and local market incentives. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless handover and successful project delivery. Requirements Proven track record in sales within the solar or renewable energy industry. Strong understanding of solar energy systems, their benefits, and the underlying technology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Strong negotiation and closing skills with a results-driven mindset. Ability to deliver engaging, persuasive sales presentations. Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple leads. Proficient in CRM tools and sales software for lead management and reporting. Ability to analyse energy consumption and provide accurate system recommendations. Knowledge of local regulations, incentives, and financing options related to solar energy is advantageous. Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle.
