Electrician

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance and operation of electrical systems and machinery. Your day-to-day tasks will include interpreting and updating electrical schematics, planning, and managing maintenance schedules with the maintenance team, and identifying areas for improvement in maintenance checks and procedures. You will also assist with machinery maintenance, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime across production lines. To be considered, you will need a Matric with Mathematics, a Trade Certificate, and a Light Current Qualification. You should have 3-4 years of post-trade experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans, as well as hands-on experience with PLC and HMI systems, will be essential to your success in this position.
