About the Role We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Training Officer to facilitate and coordinate workshops aimed at empowering individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. The ideal candidate will be committed to helping others develop positive habits, essential life skills, and mindsets that promote personal growth and long-term success. Key Responsibilities Plan, organise, and conduct workshops that create a safe and inclusive environment for participants. Facilitate sessions that encourage self-development, confidence, and positive mindset transformation. Support individuals in identifying personal challenges and guide them in developing strategies to overcome them. Teach essential workplace and life skills, including communication, computer literacy, and professional etiquette. Assist participants in building CVs and improving office administration capabilities. Encourage continuous learning, creative engagement, and the development of strong values and morals. Provide coaching on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and personal accountability. Develop and track individual progression plans to ensure measurable growth and improvement. Minimum Qualifications: Matric Courses in Human Behaviour, Mind Science, or Training (NLP certification advantageous) Experience: At least 2 years experience in Coaching, Training, or Facilitation Legal Requirements: Clear criminal record Skills and Competencies Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite AI literacy and the ability to integrate AI tools for learning and content creation Strong presentation and facilitation skills Excellent communication, listening, and conflict resolution abilities Problem-solving and organisational skills Empathy, patience, and adaptability Personal Attributes Professional and approachable Positive attitude and strong team player Proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented Honest, humble, and hardworking Demonstrates integrity and confidentiality in all interactions Passionate about youth empowerment and community upliftment
