Junior Laboratory Technician

A leading chemical solutions and manufacturing company is seeking a dedicated Junior Laboratory Technician with a passion for analytical testing, quality control, and laboratory operations. Responsibilities Conduct routine laboratory tests according to standard operating procedures. Accurately prepare, label, and analyse samples as required. Record and maintain all laboratory data, ensuring accuracy and traceability. Assist in calibrating and maintaining laboratory instruments and equipment. Support quality control activities and identify any deviations or abnormalities. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organised laboratory environment. Assist senior technicians with research, product testing, and project-related tasks. Requirements Matric with Mathematics and Science. A qualification in Chemistry, Laboratory Technology, or a related field (advantageous). Experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in manufacturing, chemical, or analytical settings. Strong understanding of basic laboratory practices and equipment. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Good problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn.
