Registered Nurse Theatre Trained

Minimum Requirements Degree/Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution. Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse. Additional theatre/operating room qualification (post-basic qualification or relevant short course). Minimum of 23 years experience as a Theatre Scrub Nurse in a multi-disciplinary operating theatre (general, orthopaedic, cardiac, neurology, etc.). Sound knowledge of infection control standards and surgical procedures.
