Reporting to the O&M Manager Direct subordinates: Lab and Storeman, Tech Support & maintenance team members, remote monitoring team Job Purpose: To oversee and manage technical support and Maintenance activities, whilst ensuring highest levels of compliance and standards as defined by the overall Industrial strategic objectives. Key Performance Areas: Technical Support (40%) Maintenance planning and support (30%) Compliance (10%) Customer Service (20%) Technical Support: Ensure reliable, efficient, and technically sound operations with minimal disruptions and high equipment uptime Maintenance Planning & Support: Achieve seamless maintenance execution, extend asset life, and prevent downtime through forward planned and structured maintenance activities Compliance: Ensure full regulatory and safety compliance, protecting assets, people, and reputation Customer Service: Maintain strong internal and external service reputation by resolving customer issues quickly, professionally, and within agreed timelines Minimum Qualifications: 3 phase installation electrician Electrical Engineering Diploma (advantageous) Minimum Experience: 3-5 years experience in Fault finding, System Integration and Solar Installations Technical Competencies: Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite; SAP, ERP)
