With one of our strategic focus areas being to Lead the Way on Healthy & Sustainable diets we are now looking for an individual with a real passion and subject-matter knowledge expertise on Healthy and Sustainable diets combined with a can do attitude to help us achieve this on a temporary assignment, for 14 months starting 1st March 2026. \n\n Youll bring a self-starter attitude and be confident to drive the implementation of Lidls Planetary Health Diet strategy with departments across the business, drawing upon your subject matter expertise to guide the approach. The role will complement a small but strong Quality and Sustainability department sitting within the commercial directorate and will report into the Head of Quality and Sustainability.

\n Please note as per Lidl internal structures the job title for this role is Senior Consultant**\n Execute Lidls healthy and sustainable diets strategy, delivering against pre-defined KPIs and supporting the businesses ambition to lead the way on healthy and sustainable diets. \n Project manage innovative, inspiring and impactful programmes to support delivery against the businesses HSD targets, aligned to the Planetary Health Diet, working primarily with buying, quality, marketing and the wider sustainability teams. \n Provide counsel for the business on health and nutrition related policy and regulation \n Work with internal datasets to track progress against targets and ensure a data driven approach to strategy.
\n Degree in nutrition or a closely related field (AfN accreditation desirable)\n~5+ years food industry experience \n~ Policy and regulation knowledge relating to subject area such as HFSS, reformulation, labelling, public health, Planetary Health Diet \n~ Proven track record in developing projects and initiatives to drive impactful change towards the Planetary Health Diet \n~ Ability to handle and analyse complex data \n~ Highly collaborative with experience building and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally \n~ German language skills are desirable but not essential \n\n 35 days holiday (pro rata)\n~10% in-store discount \n~ Sabbatical \n~ Enhanced family leave \n~ Pension scheme \n~ We value diversity, equity, and inclusion, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds.
