About Infinity Group Australia
At Infinity Group Australia, we exist to help everyday Australians conquer debt, build wealth, and create lasting financial freedom. Our average client pays off their home loan up to 20 years early and saves on average $270,000 on interest payments thanks to our flagship Rapid Repay program.
What began as a personal vision has grown into one of Australia’s most awarded financial services groups - built on education, driven by transformation, and backed by real results.
As Infinity continues to scale, our founders Rebecca and Graeme Holm remain deeply connected to the business, ensuring our mission stays personal, powerful, and people-first.
What Makes Us Different
This isn’t your standard risk and compliance role, and we’re not your standard finance company.
Direct access to decision-makers and the executive team
Opportunity to shape and drive compliance strategy across all Infinity business lines: finance, mortgage broking, and property
As Infinity continues to scale, you’ll have the opportunity to build and lead a growing risk and compliance team
The Role
In this newly created leadership role, you’ll shape and lead Infinity’s risk and compliance strategy across our rapidly growing finance, property, and coaching businesses. As
Head of Risk & Compliance , you’ll safeguard our operations, strengthen our governance frameworks, and ensure Infinity continues to set the benchmark for ethical, client-first practices.
Reporting directly to the executive team, you’ll have a seat at the table for all major business decisions — providing strategic guidance on regulatory, operational, and reputational risks. You’ll thrive in an environment that spans financial services, mortgage broking, property, real estate, and coaching, where no two days are the same and innovation is part of the DNA.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee, maintain, and continuously enhance Infinity’s enterprise-wide risk and compliance frameworks across mortgage broking, credit assistance, property transactions, and corporate operations.
Provide expert guidance on ASIC, AFCA, AUSTRAC (AML/CTF), FBAA, property law, and real estate licensing obligations.
Ensure compliance across both advice and non-advice channels, including the management of credit assistance and referral arrangements.
Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of key business risks through a structured risk management framework.
Manage complaints, breaches, incidents, and investigations to drive fair and sustainable outcomes.
Oversee compliance monitoring, internal reviews, and audits, and deliver insights to the executive and board.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and staff training programs that embed compliance into the culture.
Partner with leaders across Infinity’s finance, property, and technology divisions to ensure operational alignment and risk transparency.
Contribute to the design and implementation of compliance technology, data analytics, and automation tools to improve oversight and reporting.
Lead a national compliance team across Gold Coast, Sydney, Wollongong, and Cremorne, fostering collaboration and accountability.
Maintain and manage industry memberships, licences, and ongoing accreditation requirements.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years’ leadership experience in compliance, risk management, or governance within financial services or a multi-regulated environment.
Deep understanding of ACL obligations, credit assistance regulation, and AML/CTF requirements.
Exposure to mortgage broking, property sales, or financial coaching environments highly regarded.
Demonstrated ability to navigate advice vs non-advice models, ensuring appropriate conduct and documentation standards.
Strong knowledge of relevant regulators and legislation (ASIC, AFCA, AUSTRAC, ACCC, property law).
Proven experience building or enhancing compliance frameworks and risk registers.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and educate non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical, investigative, and decision-making skills with an appetite for continuous improvement.
Tertiary qualification in Law, Commerce, Risk, Compliance, or a related discipline.
Full working rights in Australia.
