Senior Software Engineer

About Us Suger is a revenue platform that helps our customers grow on the fastest-growing B2B sales channel: the cloud marketplaces of AWS, Azure, GCP, and Alibaba. Launched in 2022, we take the tech debt out of marketplace sales by providing an API-first approach to quote‑to‑cash and billing processes. We’re working with over 200 B2B customers, ranging from large enterprises like Snowflake and Intel to fast-growing startups like Glean and Vanta.

This is a hybrid position, requiring 4 days in the office. We are a Series A startup funded by top‑tier investors, including Threshold VC, Craft Ventures, Intel Capital, and Y Combinator.

What You’ll Do

Build core infrastructure and product UI to serve Suger customers

Contribute to system design discussions and help scale distributed systems

Work closely with our customers on onboarding, feedback collection, and day‑to‑day collaboration

Take full ownership of the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, including identifying, designing, and building new features

What You Need

3+ years of hands‑on experience with production programming in at least one of the following languages: Python, Go, Typescript, Java, or C++

Deep understanding of distributed systems, REST APIs & SQL

Experience with Terraform, GitHub CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes is a great bonus, but not required

Experience working on cloud platforms stack (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus

Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
