Position activities:
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our I&C area in GTD SI&R The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary Instrumentation and Control group on the design and implementation of wiring diagrams for Instrumentation and Control cabinets for ITER projects, such as
Gyrotrons I&C cubicles
Vacuum system fast diagnostics I&C cubicles
ITER is an international nuclear fusion research and engineering megaproject aimed at replicating the fusion processes of the Sun to create energy on earth.
Position main activities:
Design, develop, and implement wiring diagrams for I&C systems for ITER plant.
Produce FAT and SAT procedures.
Validate I&C cubicles.
Participate in any other I&C activity required by the projects.
Requirements:
Your profile:
Electrical, Industrial or Automation Engineering background.
Experience with I&C electrical design: design wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, interconnection diagrams and termination drawings for I&C cubicles.
Experience dimensioning electrical protections.
Experience with electrical design tools (preferred SEE Electrical).
Experience producing I&C system documentation: I/O list, cabling diagrams, Bill of Materials.
Experience validating I&C cubicles: Hardware FAT, Software FAT, SAT.
Experience with PLCs (preferred SIEMENS).
English B2 or equivalent.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of REBT or IEC 60364.
Experience in large Instrumentation and Control systems.
Experience programming PLCs (Step7/Tia Portal).
Experience with SCADA systems.
Experience writing technical documentation.
Personal skills:
Dynamic and adaptable individual with a multidisciplinary
Ability and motivation to understand customer processes and adapt solutions accordingly.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
A proactive team player with a collaborative mindset.
Desire to work in challenging Big Science projects.
