Senior Front-End Drupal Developer - Full remote - contractor in USD

For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote Senior Front-End Drupal Developer.

We are looking for a motivated contractor. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and responsibilities: Develop a plan outlining the Drupal framework, modules, and features to be used; Define user experience (UX) strategies for seamless navigation and interaction; Co-design and develop the UI with the website project lead and implement interactive features and navigation options, including content filters; Integrate multimedia elements – to be developed by a graphic designer - including animations, videos, and data visualizations; Develop a content management structure in Drupal that allows easy updates and scalability; Conduct testing to ensure the platform is functional, user-friendly, and bug-free; If needed, implement security best practices to protect user data and ensure platform stability;

Profile: Bachelor or Master degree; +8 years of IT experience; Proven experience in Drupal development — particularly Drupal 11 — including configuration, security, and performance optimization; Experience in developing interactive and dynamic features such as parallax scrolling, animations, dynamic filters, embedding videcontent, and building data visualizations; Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL is preferred; Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and responsive design; Fluent in English;
