Role Summary
The Store Manager leads the store team, delivers key performance indicators, and ensures flawless execution of the customer experience.
Responsibilities
Convey commitment to great Customer Service, ensuring staff performs the simple sales process.
Lead with a positive attitude toward all objectives, attend staff meetings, and provide on‑the‑job training.
Analyze store financial data and recommend actions to improve profitability.
Recruit, interview, and hire top talent; actively network to build a bench of candidates.
Forecast staffing needs using the labor scheduling model.
Perform administrative duties (payroll, inventory management, technical application).
Deliver KPIs by inspiring associates to exceed customer expectations; track via NPS portal.
Lead Optometry business partnership and co‑planning.
Adhere to Company policies on frame recovery and inventory.
Implement and maintain safety programs; conduct monthly inspections.
Develop staff through performance evaluations, counseling, and recognition.
Maximize Optometric partnerships (Coverage, Walk‑in, In‑house prescriptions, Doctor detailing, Co‑op).
Maintain registration with the State Board of Opticians.
Basic Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent.
State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification.
4+ years of management/supervisory experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of operations and business implications.
Strong influencing, negotiation, and team‑building skills.
Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Basic math skills.
Sales skills.
Familiarity with POS.
Ability to manage time under aggressive deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
College degree.
Previous customer service/retail experience.
