An established Legal 500 firm in Luton is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a highly regarded disputes team. This is a client-facing role offering close mentorship from a Legal 500-listed Partner, high-quality work and genuine long-term career progression.

You will manage a varied caseload, with a particular emphasis on property litigation and insolvency-related disputes. Typical matters include landlord and tenant issues, dilapidations, restrictive covenants, rights of way, enforcement & recovery proceedings and creditor or receiver disputes arising from insolvency. You will also have scope to work on commercial contract, professional negligence and wider business disputes.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle your own caseload across property and commercial litigation, including insolvency-related matters
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, enforcement documents and settlement agreements
• Attend hearings, mediations and client meetings; represent clients before courts and tribunals
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting the firm's business development initiatives

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with around 4+ years' PQE in commercial or property litigation
• Proven track record of high billing and client relationship management
• Experience or strong interest in insolvency litigation (creditor enforcement, administration, receivership, or recovery work)
• Commercially minded, confident advocate with strong drafting and analytical skills
• Comfortable advising corporates, developers, landlords, investors and charities
