Senior DevOps Engineer

Job description:- Experience: 6 to 8 Years Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred

Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in AWS’s compute, storage, and networking services. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration Management: • IaC Tools: Experience in tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for provisioning and managing infrastructure resources. • ConfiguraBon Management: Knowledge of tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for automating system configuration. Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub AcBons, or CircleCI to build, test, and deploy applica:ons automa:cally. ContainerizaBon and OrchestraBon: • Containerization: Mastery of Docker for packaging applications and their dependencies. • OrchestraBon: Experience with Kubernetes to manage, scale, and deploy containerized applications. Programming and Scripting: The ability to write code is crucial for automation. Common languages include Python, Bash (Shell scripting), Ruby, and Go. Version Control: Expert use of Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab for source code management, branching, and merging. Linux and Networking Fundamentals: Strong understanding of the Linux operang system (administraon, command-line u:li: es) and fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, etc.). Monitoring and Logging (Observability): Setting up and managing systems to track application and infrastructure performance. Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or the ELK Stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana). Security (DevSecOps): Knowledge of integrating security practices throughout the CI/CD pipeline, including vulnerability assessment and secure coding practices.
