The Project Delivery team is at the heart of Kingston’s capital investment program. We work alongside teams across the organisation to plan and deliver projects that align with our strategic priorities and business needs and deliver real value for the community. About the role
We’re looking for a strategic and experienced leader to take on the role of Head of Project Delivery. In this position, you’ll oversee the planning and delivery of Kingston’s capital works program, from early project development right through to completion. You’ll make sure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard while supporting the growth of your team and strengthening how we deliver for the community.

What you’ll deliver
Lead and support a team of project professionals to deliver quality outcomes.
Oversee the full project lifecycle and ensure strong governance, planning, and performance.
Build strong and positive relationships with stakeholders across Council and with external partners.
Provide strategic insights to guide decisions on project priorities, budgets, and delivery.
Continue to improve the way we manage projects by embedding best practice and innovative approaches.
Your skills and experience
Degree in Strategy, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
Extensive experience managing large complex projects, preferably within a Local Government setting.
Sound leadership capability and experience managing teams.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
A track record of improving systems, managing risk, and achieving strong project outcomes.
