Shanahan Family Law is seeking a talented Junior Family Lawyer (1–3 Years PAE) to join our dynamic and supportive team in Maroochydore, Queensland. In this full‑time role, you will provide high‑quality legal services to clients navigating family law matters while building your expertise under strong mentorship and guidance.

What you’ll be doing

Advising clients on a range of Family Law matters, including divorce, parenting, property settlements, and maintenance

Conducting legal research and drafting affidavits, applications, and correspondence

Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations

Collaborating closely with senior lawyers and the broader team to ensure exceptional outcomes

Staying up to date with developments in family law legislation and best practice

Building and maintaining strong, respectful client relationships

What we’re looking for

1–3 years post‑admission experience in Family Law

Strong knowledge of Family Law legislation and court procedures

Excellent communication, drafting, and advocacy skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment

A genuine commitment to client care and professional growth
