What you will be doing
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Electoral Systems, this role will be responsible for:
Setting the user acceptance testing strategy and defining test standards and processes to ensure that the VEC's key electoral systems remain fit-for-purpose
Overseeing the development and execution of UAT plans and test cases for major projects as well as enhancements to existing systems
Maintaining test suites and managing end-to-end testing and regression programs
Mentoring and supporting system specialists and end-users, and providing system support and advice to VEC event delivery teams.
What you will bring to the role
Proven experience in designing and implementing software testing programs and translating business requirements into test scenarios in support of complex and business-critical applications
Expertise in software testing methodologies, testing tools and quality practices and demonstrated experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and preparing test reports
Experience mentoring and leading test teams across concurrent projects within an Agile software development environment. Proven ability to manage resources effectively to achieve outcomes within tight timeframes
Demonstrated ability to manage and contribute to operational projects, including the ability to work autonomously with limited guidance and on simultaneous projects involving inflexible timelines
Commitment to the VEC's core values.
