Senior Building & Construction Lawyer – Flexible Role Boutique Lawyers is seeking a highly experienced Senior Building & Construction Lawyer to join our growing specialist practice. This role welcomes candidates seeking full-time, part-time, flexible hours, remote/hybrid work, or subcontract arrangements.

We are a dynamic firm recognised for our expertise in building, construction, and property law. We support builders, developers, subcontractors, and owners in high‑value disputes and advisory work across Victoria.

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS

VCAT / County Court / Supreme Court litigation experience

Domestic Building Contracts Act & Security of Payments

Autonomous file management – no supervision required

Flexible work hours – remote, hybrid or in‑office

Subcontractor or employee position available

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage a full litigation and advisory file load autonomously

Represent clients in VCAT, Courts, mediations, and dispute resolution

Draft high‑quality pleadings, affidavits, submissions, advices & contracts

Provide strategic guidance to builders, developers, and owners

Handle SOPA claims, variations disputes, and insurance‑related matters

Communicate confidently with clients and stakeholders

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum 5–7+ years PAE in Building & Construction Law

Strong litigation, advocacy, and drafting capability

Able to work independently with no supervision required

Looking for flexible hours / remote or hybrid work

Open to subcontract, part‑time, or full‑time arrangements
