Mobile Application Developer -MERN Stack (Freshers Only)

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mobile Application Developer specialising in the

MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React/React Native, Node.js) . The developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining mobile applications that integrate seamlessly with backend services built on Node.js and databases on MongoDB.

The role includes developing reusable UI components, ensuring high performance across Android and iOS, integrating REST/GraphQL APIs, optimizing app performance, and collaborating closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams. The candidate will also be responsible for debugging, testing, deploying updates, and ensuring smooth backend–frontend communication across the MERN ecosystem.

Qualifications & Skills Required

Core Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in

React Native

for mobile app development. Solid understanding of the

MERN stack MongoDB ,

Express.js ,

React.js ,

Node.js Experience integrating apps with

REST APIs

or

GraphQL APIs . Proficiency in

JavaScript

and

TypeScript . Experience with

backend development

using Node.js & Express.js. Knowledge of

MongoDB schema design , queries, and aggregation. Understanding of

mobile UI/UX principles

and responsive design.

Additional Technical Experience

Familiarity with

app deployment

on Play Store & App Store. Understanding of

authentication

(JWT, OAuth, Firebase Auth). Experience in

Git , GitHub/GitLab workflows, CI/CD is a bonus. Experience with push notifications, deep linking, and third-party integrations.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain

React Native

mobile applications. Build and integrate

Node.js/Express.js backend APIs . Work with MongoDB database designs, queries, and optimisations. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement clean app designs. Write reusable, modular, and scalable code. Debug and resolve issues related to performance, crashes, or architecture. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and feature discussions. Ensure mobile apps are optimised for speed and performance. Implement industry-standard security practices.

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in

Computer Science ,

IT ,

Software Engineering , or equivalent practical experience.
