We are looking for Automotive Process Engineers to work for the most important Tier1, specialized in hard trim in the automotive sector based in Valencia.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering
or similar.
At least
5 years of experience
as a Process Engineer in an industrial environment.
Solid experience in the
Automotive sector
: welding, tooling, process validation, process documentation.
Strong understanding of
assembly processes
, work instructions, packaging, factory layout, and industrial methods.
Experience reviewing machine designs and ensuring correct implementation at supplier facilities (ability to identify issues and drive corrective actions).
Critical thinking
skills for identifying process weaknesses and communicating improvement actions.
Competency in
CAD tools
, specifically
Unigraphics (Siemens NX)
, for visualization and review of machine and tooling designs.
Strong documentation skills and ability to lead technical meetings.
High level of
English
for meetings and technical discussions.
Availability to travel
to machine suppliers and other facilities as needed.
Task:
Define, validate and optimize
industrial processes
for automotive components.
Work with
assembly processes
, creating and maintaining process instructions for operators (assembly steps, packaging instructions, methods, tools required, etc.).
Review and validate
machine pre-designs
, follow up with suppliers, and ensure all equipment meets technical, safety, and functional requirements.
Identify inefficiencies in processes, communicate them effectively to operators, and propose improvement solutions.
Review factory
layouts
, define equipment distribution and methods for optimal production flow.
Support validation activities including
FAT
(Factory Acceptance Test) and
SAT
(Site Acceptance Test).
Prepare technical documentation, meeting minutes, and project reports.
Manage packaging requirements and ensure compliance with product and process specifications.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and supplier teams throughout the project lifecycle.
