Senior Security Screen Installer/Lead Hand

Location: 15 Meakin Road, Meadowbrook QLD 4131, K&B Security Doors and Shutters

Employment Type: Initial Casual transitioning to Permanent Full-Time

Hourly Rate: $45-$50 (Casual), $36-$40 (Permanent Full-Time)

Our flagship products, including Supa Shield™, Infinity Shutters™, and LouvreLock Shutters™, lead the market in quality and innovation.

Role Overview We're seeking a highly experienced security screen installer to take on a senior role within our installation team. This position requires advanced technical skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to mentor junior installers.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm^

Key Responsibilities

Expert-level installation of security screens

Conduct accurate check measuring for complex installations

Provide on-site training and technical guidance to other installers

Professional customer interaction and issue resolution

Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience in security screen installation

Demonstrable expertise in check measuring

Valid manual driver's license

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities

Professional presentation and communication skills

1-2 week paid trial period for mutual evaluation

^Overtime paid at applicable rates. Current installers average 38-42 hours weekly.
