High‑impact, strategic role with visibility at the executive level
We are partnering with one of Australia’s most respected and diversified ASX‑listed organisations to recruit a Vice President / Director for their high‑performing Corporate Development and Internal M&A team in Perth. The group has a broad portfolio across Natural Resources & Mining, Energy, and heavy industrial sectors, with a proven track record of creating value through strategic transactions. This team sits at the heart of the business, playing a pivotal role in shaping the portfolio and driving long‑term growth strategy.
In this role, you will lead complex workstreams across M&A transactions, strategic investments, and high‑value corporate projects. Working closely with senior executives, you will apply commercial judgment and financial expertise to assess potential acquisitions, partnerships, and capital allocation decisions. This is a unique opportunity to operate with visibility and impact at the highest levels of a major corporate group, while benefiting from the depth, stability, and long‑term focus of an internal corporate role.
The ideal candidate will have 7–12 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or Big 4 M&A teams. You will be a self‑starter with a passion for solving complex business problems, strong stakeholder‑engagement skills, and the ability to lead small teams or workstreams independently. Strong technical capabilities and commercial judgment are essential.
The culture is down‑to‑earth and collaborative, underpinned by core values of integrity, openness, accountability, and entrepreneurial spirit.
