The Code Company is a globally‑recognised enterprise WordPress agency and WordPress VIP Gold Partner specialising in solving complex problems at scale for some of Australia's most prominent digital publishers including CarAdvice/Drive, Pedestrian and Val Morgan as well as international brands such as eBay and Fujifilm. Founded in Queensland, our agency has been around for more than a decade and we're made up of experts within the WordPress ecosystem, core contributors, plugin developers, front‑end developers and back‑end engineers. Our team members work remotely across Australia, NZ and the US, but we also have satellite offices across the country for impromptu meetups, project collaboration and for team members that prefer working from an office a few days a week.

Head of Growth
The Opportunity
As Head of Growth, you'll sit at the Leadership table, own net‑new revenue targets, and drive acquisition across key markets. You'll report directly into the Leadership Team, partner closely with the Head of Client Strategy, and lead marketing alignment.
In the next 12–24 months, you'll:
Land high‑value new logos that fuel multi‑year growth
Build and scale a world‑class new business engine
Hire, coach, and lead your own team as headcount grows
Shape strategy with full accountability and visibility
Note: some domestic and infrequent international travel will be required.
What You’ll Do
Lead with Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute growth strategies to acquire net‑new logos
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, pipeline, closing
Crush quarterly and annual sales targets
Represent us at industry events, webinars, and C‑suite tables
Build the Machine
Lead, manage, and hold accountable the current Marketing Coordinator and future department hires
Design repeatable systems for pipeline health and forecasting
Drive cross‑department alignment to support sales momentum
Grow into Leadership
Participate and contribute to the direction of the business, Level 10 meetings, business goals and targets, and company vision
Foster a culture of ownership, clarity, and high performance
Leave every process, doc, and relationship better than you found it
Who You Are
A proven sales hunter with digital agency DNA
Required: 5+ years in new business sales within a digital agency environment (web, UX, dev, creative, performance)
Demonstrated experience combining individual sales achievement with team leadership responsibilities
Track record of consistently hitting or exceeding 7‑figure new logo quotas
Deep experience prospecting, pitching, and closing senior decision‑makers
Fluent in CRM discipline (we live in the data)
Bonus points for experience with consultative sales of large, bespoke often enterprise projects, and you've read the Win Without Pitching Manifesto.
