Overview

Permanent Full Time We’re looking for a Director to lead strategic projects that will transform how we serve plan members and retain assets in Client Advisory Services – a newly launched sales organization focused on growing client relationships across Canada Life. This role is critical to driving high impact projects that improve processes, enhance competitiveness, and deliver a key piece of our growth plan. You’ll join at a pivotal time and play a key role in shaping project plans, managing delivery, and ensuring successful outcomes. You'll lead a small team and collaborate across Finance, Technology, Operations, Communications and Risk Management to align stakeholders and implement practical solutions that move us forward. What you will do

Lead day-to-day delivery of major strategic projects Develop the project strategy and lead a cross functional team to determine design requirements and decisions Work with a project manager to define and manage project plans, including timelines and key milestones Establish the right governance structures and lead workstreams Lead a cross functional team of partners, collaborating across: Finance to manage business case and project economics Technology to scope and deliver enabling solutions Operations to implement supporting process changes Risk Management and Compliance to identify and mitigate project risks Communications to manage messaging for advisors, sponsors and plan members Prepare and facilitate executive Steering Committee sessions, ensuring strategic alignment and informed decision-making Influence project members to prioritize execution and ensure deliverables are completed on time What you will bring

10+ years in program/project management experience, including leading multi-million dollar initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations Proven ability to deliver financial outcomes through strategic projects Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and execute under pressure Experience in technology delivery and operational processes in large organizations Expertise in enterprise project governance and risk management, and developing practical solutions Strong communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders Knowledge of Canada’s group retirement plan landscape is an asset Willingness to travel (10–15%) As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (fluent in French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only as the position will regularly serve our clients with French and English-speaking needs Location and compensation

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: London (ON), Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver or Winnipeg. The base salary for this position is between

$102,300 - $187,700

annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
