Job Description
ROLES & RESPONSISBILITIES:
Design & Development:
Lead the detailed design and 3D modeling of complex engine components (e.g., cylinder block, cylinder head, valvetrain, crankshaft, turbocharger components) using CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, NX).
Analysis & Simulation : Perform or coordinate engineering analysis, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural integrity and durability, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for performance optimization.
Technical Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive engineering drawings, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Sourcing, Testing, and Quality Assurance to ensure designs are manufactural, cost-effective, and meet all functional requirements.
Testing & Validation:
Support engine build, testing, and validation activities. Analyze test data, identify root causes of failures or issues, and implement design changes for corrective action.
Innovation & Improvement: Proactively
identify and implement design improvements to enhance engine efficiency, power density, reliability, and reduce emissions and cost.
Project Management:
Manage component-level projects, track progress against milestones, and report status to management. Mentor junior engineers or interns as needed.

BE Mechanical/ Automobile

4 to 7 Years
