Job Summary To support the growth of its student body, SBR is seeking an experienced English Language Teacher for our kindergarten until secondary school. The successful candidate must be fluent in verbal and written English (SBR will provide support in obtaining a work permit if needed). This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing English language instruction for students. The English Language Teacher collaborates with colleagues, communicates with parents, and participates in professional development activities to enhance teaching practices and student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Work with the English Language Coordinator and VP for Academic Affairs in maintaining high academic standards within the subject area to meet and exceed standards expected by the curriculum providers.

Monitor and evaluate all aspects of the work of the subject to ensure that students are supported in their learning journey

Set the highest aspirations for their student’s achievement and development, both in the classroom and through intra and extracurricular activities offered.

Model and promote best practices in the teaching and learning of the subject.

Requirements

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in the subject area of English Language Education, or Post Graduate Certificate/Diploma in Education/English (with TEFL or TESOL or CELTA Certificate)

Minimum 5 years in the educational field.

Experience in IBPYP and Cambridge Programmers.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Well-organized and committed.

Creative and energetic.

Strong moral values and discipline.

Mastery of Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Google Classroom
