Software Engineer

More than 7 years of experience in IT industry as a developer, Tech lead. Strong expertise in APIGEE (preferably APIGEE X) platform. Understanding of APIGEE API lifecycle management and monetization. Strong hands-on experience in Python and RESTful API development Unit testing, performance testing. Familiarity with API security protocols (OAuth2, JWT), IAM, and governance. Skilled to write complicated SQL queries. Experience with cloud databases (Cloud SQL (MySQL or PostgreSQL), BigQuery) and integrating with data stores/analytics layers. Hands-on experience with deployment on Kubernetes/GKE, Docker, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins). Develop microservices using Python following codding best practices, containerize and deploy services on GKE; contribute to CI/CD pipelines and artifact governance. Understand application functionality & drive discussion with business to understand the functional requirement. Integrate microservices with cloud provided services (GCP Machine Translation, GCP Document AI).
