Hospital Medicine Position _ Night/ Nocturnist Coverage / 300K

*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated nocturnist to join our team. This position involves managing patient care overnight in the observation unit while ensuring quality and efficient service delivery in collaboration with the ICU team and resident house officers.

*Duties*

* 1. Observation Coverage: Manage patients in the observation unit overnight, ensuring they receive appropriate care, monitoring, and timely interventions. * 2. Overnight Admissions: Handle overnight admissions to the observation unit and transition patients to inpatient care as necessary, coordinating with physician groups for Tuck-in services when requested. * 3. ICU Admissions: no ICU Cross coverage is needed on admitted patients. New ICU admissions overnight are seen by the resident and staffed with the nocturnist * 4. Procedures Requirement: No procedures are mandatory for the nocturnist; however, having procedural skills is beneficial for supervising residents. * 5. Supervision of Residents: yes, as needed

_*Qualifications*_

* - MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. * - Board certification in Internal Medicine * - Experience in hospital medicine * - Strong communication and collaboration skills.

* This position requires availability during nocturnal hours, typically from 7 PM to 7 AM, with flexibility to accommodate hospital needs. * - Full-time position offers a salary of $300.000.00 plus benefits totaling $330.000.00 * - Moonlighters earn $1,500 per shift. Moonlighters must have completed residency
