Director, Business Planning and Process Improvement
As Director, Business Planning and Process Improvement, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic business planning, process optimisation, and continuous improvement across the organisation. Reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, this position offers the opportunity to lead the development and implementation of robust business planning frameworks, support process reengineering initiatives, and ensure the effective use of technology to enhance organisational efficiency and service delivery. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders, influence change, and contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives.
Key Duties
Facilitate and support strategic business planning processes, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and articulate business plans, key initiatives, and performance measures.
Design and deliver dashboards and reporting tools to track progress against business plan initiatives.
Lead the creation and implementation of governance frameworks and performance metrics.
Identify, prioritise, and optimise business processes to drive efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
Lead cross‑functional projects to implement process enhancements, leveraging methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
Support the design, development, and management of operating models and service catalogues.
Ensure compliance with relevant government policies and obligations, particularly in procurement.
Eligibility
You are a strategic and innovative leader with a proven track record in business planning, process improvement, and organisational transformation. You bring:
Experience in strategic business planning, process efficiency, and business management.
Undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field.
Experience in a top‑tier consulting firm and/or a similar role within a financial institution.
Highly developed conceptual, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
A passion for solving complex business challenges and a continuous improvement mindset.
Outstanding research and analytical abilities, with a talent for delivering actionable insights.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in developing and maintaining frameworks, methodologies, and tools for strategy management and business planning.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate, consult, and drive outcomes in a dynamic environment.
Organisational agility, adaptability, and comfort with complexity and ambiguity.
