Chief Financial Officer Part-Time

Our client, a leading provider to a range of industries, including metal and aluminum fabrication, engineering, rail, construction and joinery, is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead all aspects of financial management, strategy, and governance. This pivotal role will suit a commercially minded leader who thrives on driving growth, strengthening performance, and partnering with executives to deliver long-term success.

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals and growth initiatives.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Oversee cash flow, capital management, and funding strategies.

Manage financial risk, compliance, and governance frameworks.

Provide strategic insights and data‑driven recommendations to the CEO and Board.

Lead and develop a high‑performing finance team, fostering accountability and excellence.

Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

Minimum 10 years of progressive financial management experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership.

In-depth knowledge of financial planning, reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and risk management.

Experience overseeing audits, capital planning, and business performance optimisation.
