Warehouse Manager

About the role As the Warehouse Manager at SJ Fresh Produce, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our state‑of‑the‑art fully chilled warehouse in Canning Vale, Western Australia. This is a full‑time, hands‑on role that will see you play a crucial part in supporting the company's growth and success in the fresh produce industry.

What you'll be doing

Early morning starts managing and coordinating all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching fresh produce orders to our customers

Staff rostering, development and performance management of the warehouse team to ensure high levels of productivity, efficiency and safety

Ensure all company policies and procedures are being adhered to

Analyse warehouse data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Collaborate cross‑functionally with the sales retail team, produce buyers and transport companies to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment

What we're looking for

Substantial experience (5+ years) in a similar warehouse management role, ideally within the fresh produce industry

Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills to motivate and get the best out of your team of about 15-20 people

Reporting to the produce buyers while providing leadership and direction to the team under your supervision

Ready to step in hands‑on, including forklift operation, to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and deadlines are met

Ability to meet deadlines, attention to detail, and a good memory!

Current and valid forklift licence required
