The Opportunity
We are seeking a Manager for our People Consulting practice. You will gain valuable experience across capabilities and service offerings, working in multidisciplinary teams and directly with leaders of major organizations. You will advise public sector leaders on navigating disruptions, evolving workforce challenges, and business landscape shifts, fostering innovation and purpose within an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
Show a thorough understanding of people components of large‑scale transformation; lead teams and work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services, especially in change and organizational design.
Deliver quality services by establishing goals and implementation plans to achieve high‑quality deliverables within expected timeframes; monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed.
Maintain productive relationships with client management; focus on deliverables and client business priorities; manage service expectations and understand industry trends.
Develop people by providing constructive on‑the‑job feedback/training and fostering an innovative, team‑oriented environment.
Demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge; keep up‑to‑date with current developments and trends.
Generate new business opportunities by understanding EY and its service lines, presenting ways to serve clients, building long‑term relationships, and collaborating across practices.
Be flexible and willing to travel up to 30% on short notice.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Experience supporting people components of transformation – change management, culture change, operating model and organizational design, strategic workforce planning, learning design, and/or talent management.
Project management experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including storytelling, adapting messaging to audiences, and strong facilitation skills.
Collaborative teamwork, knowing when to lead and when to follow.
Experience managing staff on multiple projects and providing direction.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
High motivation and a self‑starting attitude.
Strong work ethic.
Effective organization and time‑management skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of related work experience; or graduate degree and 4–6 years of related work experience.
PROSCI or other industry‑standard change management certification is considered an asset.
Experience in selling and delivering projects covering the full lifecycle of assessment, design, and implementation support.
