Description We’re seeking Strawberry Runners to join a busy horticultural production team at a leading nursery in Ballandean, Queensland and Armidale NSW. This is a hands‑on role in the agriculture and plant production industry, involving physical and detailed work in an indoor nursery environment. You’ll be part of a friendly, hardworking crew focused on producing high‑quality strawberry runners for dispatch across Australia.

Key Responsibilities In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting efficient nursery operations and maintaining product quality. Your day‑to‑day duties will include:

Handling and processing plug plants within the production shed, including grading, trimming, cleaning, and packing.

Inspecting plants for quality, uniformity, and signs of damage or disease.

Preparing trays and packaging materials for daily dispatch.

Following hygiene, biosecurity, and safety protocols at all times.

Assisting with basic machinery such as conveyors or trimming tools.

Keeping work areas clean and organised.

Recording output data and reporting issues to supervisors.

Supporting general shed and nursery operations, including palletising and labelling.

Benefits

Duration: 3 months (seasonal role)

Hours: 38 hours per week
