Role: IT APM Engineer
Location: Brazil (Remote)
Work Time Zone: PST overlap

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Application Portfolio Management (APM) Engineer to support our enterprise architecture and application rationalization efforts using LeanIX. This role is critical in capturing, analyzing, and maintaining application metadata to assess current technology usage, align future business requirements, and guide decisions on modernization, consolidation, or new application development. This position is part of the IT Global Infrastructure & Operation team and will be remote India or Brazil.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
LeanIX Data Stewardship
Populate and maintain accurate application data within LeanIX, including ownership, lifecycle, business capabilities, and technical attributes.
Ensure completeness and consistency of metadata across the application portfolio.
Application Rationalization
Evaluate applications for business value (e.g., strategic alignment, user impact, cost efficiency).
Assess technical value (e.g., scalability, integration readiness, security posture, supportability).
Identify candidates for retirement, consolidation, or modernization.
Technology Mapping & Future Planning
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to map future business requirements to existing technologies.
Support decision-making on whether to enhance current platforms or build new applications.
Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with application owners, enterprise architects, and business analysts to gather insights and validate data.
Facilitate workshops and reviews to ensure alignment on application strategy and lifecycle decisions.
Reporting & Insights
Generate dashboards and reports from LeanIX to support executive decision-making.
Provide insights into portfolio health, redundancy, risk, and optimization opportunities.
The essential requirements of the job include:
3+ years of experience in application portfolio management, enterprise architecture, or IT asset management.
Hands-on experience with LeanIX or similar APM tools.
Strong understanding of application lifecycle, business capability modeling, and technology stack analysis.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, BIZBOK) is required.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
5%-15% travel as per business requirements.
