Job Purpose and Impact:

The Poultry - Technical Sales Lead based at Namakkal will be aligned to Cargill's Animal Nutrition and Health business in India supporting Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. In this role you will assist commercial team members with technical solutions and support interactions with clients and prospective customers, to help them understand how the company can provide solutions for them and improve profitability.

Key Accountabilities:

Assist the commercial team members to establish and cultivate effective partnerships with customers to maintain existing business and gain new ones. Manage product demonstrations and trials of products and ensured work according to required specifications. Deploy relevant Cargill digital services and tools and help the farmers to realize the benefit and assist commercial/Strategic Marketing and Technology team to capture value from the service. Assist the customers on nutritional aspect that includes diet design and disease diagnosis during the customer visits. Develop strong customer relationships at geographical key accounts in the assigned territory. Identify and gather information on customer requirement and recommend appropriate service and product. Support cross functional teams including strategic marketing technology to develop and proof new products. Technical training to the commercial team. Participate with sales and marketing leaders on customer segmentation, satisfaction and account planning. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Minimum requirement of 5 years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Qualified B.V.Sc (Poultry Science) and Post Graduation in Animal Nutrition or Poultry Science Years of experience: 5 - 8 years. Fluent in speaking Tamil. Fluency in Kannada is an added advantage. Open to travelling atleast 15 days every month. Ability to develop customer relationships and trust through technical knowledge and expertise.
